About

Hi, I’m Baisey.

I take old, worn-out clothing and transform it into something new and beautiful, giving it a second life and keeping it out of landfills.

I worked the corporate scene for years and found happiness after leaving to pursue the art of making wearable art.

The process of upcycling involves taking apart old garments and using the fabric to create new pieces. I enjoy using a variety of techniques, such as patchwork, embroidery, or applique, to create unique and one-of-a-kind designs and incorporate other materials, such as vintage lace or buttons, to add character and charm to my creations.

I began sewing at an early age and enjoy the need to take apart and reassemble garments in a way that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Matching colors, textures and creating cohesive and visually appealing pieces from disparate materials is sooo fun.

As a maker of upcycled clothing it’s rewarding to know that my work is sustainable and helps to reduce waste. I believe that fashion should be both beautiful and responsible, and strive to create pieces that are both stylish and eco-friendly. It’s exciting that the slow fashion movement is gaining popularity and encouraging consumers to choose quality over quantity and invest in pieces that will last a lifetime.
